John St. Marie is a versatile musician, conductor, and teacher.  He holds Bachelor degrees from Loyola University in Music Therapy and Voice, a Master of Music degree in Conducting Performance from California State University, Fullerton, and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Choral Music from the University of Southern California.

In 2010, he was appointed as Director of Choirs at LACHSA and serves as Director of Music at Irvine United Congregational Church and Vallejo Drive Seventh Day Adventist.  Both of these church positions are lauded for their high-quality music programs.  Dr. St. Marie served as Interim Director of Choral Activities at California State University, Los Angeles in 2010-11.  He has been a feature presenter at both the California Music Education Association and the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts Education Series and was recently appointed as Chair of the Research and Publications committee for the American Choral Directors Association.
